Vanished are the half-real remnants of the fallen, spirits who return to finish their final battle. Although they are not true shades, they are nonetheless dangerous in quantity.
They do not understand or believe they are truly slain, and carry on trying to accomplish their task. VANISHED TEMPLATE A humanoid creature can become a vanished. It keeps its statistics, except as follows: Type - the creature becomes undead (incorporeal). Armour Class The creature's armour class is reduced by 4. Hit Points The creature's maximum Hit Points are halved. Vulnerability The vanished gains vulnerability to force damage. Damage Resistance The vanished gains resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical attacks. Damage Immunities. The vanished gains immunity to poison damage. Condition Immunities The vanished gains immunity to being blinded, charmed, exhaustion, grappled, paralyzed, petrified, poisoned, or restrained. Challenge The vanished's Challenge is reduced by 2. (minimum 0). Attacks. The vanished's attacks have disadvantage against any creature that is not incorporeal, and their total damage is reduced to one-half.
