Constantly on the move, those barbarians who follow the path of plunder outfit themselves with whatever they can find, and are experts at making their way in any terrain and any situation. They are stubborn, tenacious, and innovative, given to improvising weapons and tools out of whatever they can score, steal, or scrounge. These plunderers are efficient warriors and implacable foes. Followers of the path of plunder tend to be bloodthirsty and robust warriors, given to carrying many weapons and trophies taken from their foes.
Vicious Attack From 3rd level, you are a master of wielding weapons recklessly, with no regard for their future. When you hit with an attack using a weapon or improvised weapon, you can choose to deal additional damage of the weapon's type, at the cost of damaging the weapon. If the weapon is magical, attacks made with the weapon are made with disadvantage until someone finishes a short rest while holding the weapon. If the weapon is not magical, it is destroyed, and cannot be used in its form any more (although at the GM's discretion, it may still be used as an improvised weapon of a different type- a greatclub might still be usable as a club, a greatsword might still be usable as a shortsword, or it might not be recoverable at all). At 3rd level, this damage is 1d8. At 6th level, this damage increases to 2d8, and at 14th level it increases to 3d8. Natural Survivor From 3rd level, your drive to withstand the elements and and your ability to adapt drives you onwards relentlessly, surviving whatever life throws at you. You can add half of your proficiency bonus to your Initiative rolls. In addition, when you finish a long rest in one of the following terrain types, you can add half of your proficiency bonus to saving throws against natural hazards and traps in that terrain. You lose this benefit when you finish a long rest in a different terrain type. Terrain types: arctic, coast, desert, forest, grassland, mountain, swamp, or the Underdark. Relentless Viciousness From 6th level, when you choose to use the vicious attack feature during your turn, your weapon does not break until the end of your turn. Scrap Armour From 6th level, you can fashion improvised armour from scraps. When you use the unarmoured defense feature, your Armour Class equals 11 + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier. No Survivors From 10th level, your bloodthirsty nature allows you to hew through opponents without pause. When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make a melee attack against any other creature within your reach. You can also add half your proficiency bonus on any Insight and Intimidation checks. Improved Scrap Armour From 14th level, you can further improve the scraps you have fashioned into improvised armour. When you use the unarmoured defense feature, your Armour Class equals 12 + your Dexterity modifier + your Constitution modifier. Comments are closed.
